Usually living in the deepest leagues of the sea in inky-black darkness, the Giant Eel chose to hide its eggs in the Dark Orca Submarine, creating a particularly bad situation (for Captain Hammerhead and his crew, at least) due to its aggressive and hostile attitude towards humans.
Slippery, large, and dangerous, the Giant Eel was desperate to save its eggs and would do anything to get them back, giving the Nektons yet another rescue mission to complete.
